ALERT: Type IV Radio Emission
Begin Time: 2014 Aug 01 1818 UTC

Description: A CME is headed towards Earth and is expected to make a glancing blow on Earth’s magnetic field. NOAA forecasters estimate a thirty percent chance of geomagnetic storms on 8/2/14. Type IV emissions occur in association with major eruptions on the sun and are typically associated with strong coronal mass ejections and solar radiation storms
