1969 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE

This auction is for a 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible. This is one of only around 11,000 built in 1969. The car is complete and mostly original. The car does run and drive but needs restoration. We have a clear title as this is my wife’s car that never really was driven much. It has been sitting for about 8 years. We have owned it for about 10 years. All of the normal rust areas exist on this car. Floor pans, doors, torque boxes, etc. need to be replaced. Also the top will need replacing. All seats had been recovered and are still in pretty good shape. The rest of the interior needs replacing. All glass is good. All side glass from a 1970 Mustang has been installed. The 70 window glass bolts to the window bracket instead of being glued in. New brake drums and all hardware have been replaced. Also has new radiator, new fuel pump and carburetor has been rebuilt. There is no radio with the car. Mileage on car is around 148,000 miles. The following is a list of options on the car.

Just to clarify things, when I stated the car runs and drives, that does not mean it is in condition to be a daily driver or be driven a long distance. After sitting for 8 years as I described, it is rusty on the underside, tires are probably dry rotted although they hold air and I would not recomend being driven as a regular daily driven car until being checked out. It does run and has been driven about two miles in the past week to verify that the motor and transmission work.
