Lots of people have asked what did it all cost so here it is. I did not include the price of the car as you will have to see what you can get a car for in your area. The basic prices for the parts are all the same, convertible, fastback, notchback, etc. These are the actual prices I paid for my parts.

I still have to buy

Final estimated total for restoration this year
$4500

So this spring I will have a nice stang but next winter I intend to continue and replace the cowl vents, and maybe the rear frame supports and other stuff I am sure.

Sooooo am I in the red or did would I be ahead if I sold the car?
Here is the NADA used car prices for this car:
Original MSRP: $2,954
$11,550
$19,200
$31,600

You be the Judge as to the quality of the car, I have obviously hid nothing.
Is it Low retail? They define that as:
Mechanically functional condition, needing only minor reconditioning. The exterior paint, trim, and interior would show normal wear, needing only minor reconditioning. May also be a deteriorated restoration or a very poor amateur restoration. Most usable "as-is".

They Define average as:
Could be an older restoration or a well-maintained original vehicle. Completely operable. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out. A "20-footer".

High is defined as:
Excellent condition overall. It could be a completely restored or an extremely well maintained original vehicle showing very minimal wear. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are not in need of reconditioning.

Well the answer is even if it is valued at low retail I am well ahead. Of course this does not take into account the cost of my labor. I have seen estimates on other web sites that put the cost for the work I have done in the $10,000-$20,000 range. If I had to pay for labor and was doing this to make money I would not be a happy man, but I did the labor and I am not doing it for the money so I guess I am a happy man!

This is what I hope to wind up with when I am done.
